I think we should step back for a second and talk about the basics.
After all the content you’ve received from me about business strategies, content, and mindset, you may think, “If I’m trying to grow, I need to get a million things right in order to succeed.”
That may be true, but consider this…
Your most important win is the first one.
Your first sale, your first viral video, or your first day feeling good about the work you’re doing.
Whether you’re a startup trying to get off the ground, or an established brand launching a new service, that first win is critical.
Why do I bring this up?
It’s so easy to get lost in the weeds. It’s easy to start focusing on too many things at once, or on design details and outreach and pricing variations and A/B testing.
But no matter what you’re trying to achieve, just remind yourself: I just need one win.
It’s a lot more effective to stay focused and get that single win than it is to spread yourself thin and burn out. Even if you get that win, you’ll be exhausted and you won’t feel good about everything else that you’re doing.
You’ve got this. Get that win.
