Why viral formats outperform celebrities

Think you have to copy Oprah or the Kardashians to go viral? Think again. When Oprah posts to her 22M followers, engagement is only a fraction of that – even with her face on screen. People tune in for the name, not necessarily the content. In other words, that’s a billboard, not a magnet.

Now compare that to everyday creators who grew with formats, not fame:

Donny Dust – A self-styled “professional caveman.” His survival videos follow proven viral formats and rack up tens of millions of views – far beyond his follower count.

Bo (Dad Advice) – Just a regular dad sharing quick parenting hacks. His repeatable clips consistently out-engage many celebrities and big brands.

Our Client, Sud Scrub – A mass-market body scrub brand. Using our Hook Point method, they turned body care into viral stories, gaining 50K new followers and 10M views. Now Sud Scrub is even selling in Walmart.

See? You don’t need to be Oprah (or any celebrity) to build a massive audience. You just need a repeatable system that delivers that level of attention. Next week, I’ll show you how to do this without spending a dime on the platforms.
